PARKi Pay by Plate meters have an integrated keypad to enable patrons to enter their (VRN) before selecting the amount of payment to be made by time. Payment can be made by coins, credit card or PARKi. A receipt is printed listing the VRN and expiry time, or, (optional) for placement onto car dashboard.
PARKi app account enables both casual and permit holders to pay for time within the zone, as an alternative to meters.
Information captured from both the PARKi Pay by Plate meter and the PARKi system is transmitted to PARKi management software for processing and transmission to an enforcement mobile LPR vehicle or an enforcement officer hand-held device.
Mobile LPR vehicles or hand held detect when a vehicle has parked in a specific bay and the Vehicle Registration Number (VPN). Once a vehicle has been detected in a bay the bays zone number and time and date of detection is stored on the LPR database and compared with data received from PARKi app and meter payments for the purpose of enforcement.
